SIP trunking is a term applied to the services offered by local exchange carriers, independent local exchange carriers, competitive local exchange carriers, and Internet telephony service providers to terminate VoIP calls to the public switched telephone network.

Verizon, a provider of broadband and other wireless communications services, announced that it is advancing communications and cloud solutions in the emerging Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific regions.



Tata Communications has announced a white label solution that will allow carriers to offer their own branded mobile VoIP services.



A multi-million dollar supplier and integrator of communications equipment and services, Birns TeleCommunications, Inc., recently launched a Cloud Hosted PBX communications system.



MTN Communications and Carnival Corporation have entered into a new agreement under which MTN will provide Internet services for Carnival's guests and crew. In particular, several Carnival brands - including Princess Cruises, Cunard and P&O Cruises in the U.K. - will be covered by MTN.
