Ingate® Systems to Present Conference Session at INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO Fall 2005
President Steven Johnson to Discuss NAT/Firewall Traversal
at Leading VoIP Event in Los Angeles
HOLLIS, NH, September 29, 2005 — Ingate® Systems (www.ingate.com), which develops firewall technology and products that enable SIP-based live communication for the enterprise while maintaining control and security at the network edge, today announced that Steven Johnson, President, Ingate Systems, has accepted an invitation to present a session titled, "SIP? NAT? Not! Traversing the Firewall” at TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO Fall 2005 on October 27, 2005 at the Los Angeles, California Convention Center.
INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO, held October 24-27, 2005, is the world’s largest and best-attended VoIP trade show. Last February, the show drew more than 6,200 buyers and sellers of VoIP products and services to Miami. For this upcoming October show, TMC projects total attendance to exceed 7,500.
Ingate will also be exhibiting at the show, at booth #335.
“Businesses are in need of real-world solutions to assist them in leveraging the benefits convergence has to offer,” said Johnson. “Internet Telephony provides a much-needed forum for these types of solutions. As a leader in next-generation firewall and NAT traversal technology, Ingate is proud to join the speaking roster at Internet Telephony.”
Ingate products solve the NAT traversal issues inherent in SIP communications. Since NAT hides private IP addresses from the public Internet, Ingate’s products enable seamless secure connectivity by matching SIP communications originating from outside a company with the appropriate internal IP address.
In addition to resolving near-end NAT traversal issues, Ingate offers Remote SIP Connectivity, a far-end NAT traversal solution that extends the SIP capabilities of a corporate network to remote workers. Ingate also offers VoIP Survival, an application module that offers full redundancy in a SIP-based hosted PBX environment and ensures continued communications service even if the host server goes offline. All modules work with Ingate Firewall® and Ingate SIParator® products, which provide an elegant and cost-effective solution for SIP-enabling an enterprise.
“We are very pleased that Steven will be participating in this year’s show. Ingate Systems is widely recognized and respected as an industry leader, and I am confident that our attendees will appreciate and value the opportunity to hear his perspective on firewall/NAT traversal in a SIP environment,” said TMC president and conference co-chair, Rich Tehrani.
