PPPhone mobile VoIP Technology now available Worldwide

Tokyo, November 1, 2006 – International Systems Research Co. (ISR), Tokyo-based developer of next-generation mobile VoIP technology, released today the international version of the PPPhone Voice over IP (VoIP) Software Development Kit (SDK) for customers outside of Japan. PPPhone SDK is a state-of-the-art VoIP toolkit that allows application developers to introduce IP Telephony capabilities on all types of internet-ready products quickly and easily.

ISR’s VoIP technology has been adopted as the standard telephony software by major telecom carriers in Japan. It achieves superior efficiency and performance on mobile devices with limited power, processor and memory resources such as dual Smartphones, WiFi handsets and mobile phones. VoIP applications created with PPPhone SDK have been successfully deployed on Windows Mobile 5 Smartphones including HTC, Symbol, i-mate, and HP devices.

PPPhone SDK incorporates the most up-to-date IETF SIP standards to deliver feature-rich telephony applications that interoperate seamlessly with a wide range of SIP servers and platforms. Its flexible, modular architecture provides high extensibility and customization potential. Advanced features include WiFi access point roaming, dual WiFi/PHS telephony, multicast, presence, and various IP-PBX and IP-Centrex business functions.

Other applications that can be created with PPPhone SDK include PC and mobile Softphone clients, VoIP adapters, enterprise communication systems, voice-enabled remote monitoring systems, car navigation systems, and a wide range of FMC and IMS solutions for Service Providers, Hardware Vendors, and Solution Providers.
