Respected VoIP Industry Veteran to Host TMC University Courses on FMC and IP Network Security

Norwalk, CT (July 31st, 2008) - Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®) announced today that VoIP industry veteran Bill Kelly (News - Alert) has accepted an invitation to host and administer two TMC University Certification Courses at TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO West (ITEXPO), scheduled to take place September 16-18, 2008 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.

At ITEXPO, Bill Kelly will host two courses in the TMC University program, which is open to all conference attendees.  Bill’s classes include “FMC/Mobility” on Tuesday September 16th and “IP Network Security” on Wednesday September 17th.

“We think Bill will add a lot of value to TMC University, and to our conference program in general, because he’s well aware of the current issues, trends and challenges facing our industry, and he’s so familiar with the technologies and solutions that can best address these challenges,” said Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), TMC President and Conference Chairman.  “For the last decade, Bill has worked extensively in the IP communications industry -- most recently as one of the program developers for the VON show -- and we’re pleased to offer his expertise to the attendees of TMC University and ITEXPO.”

“From an educational perspective, TMC University offers a unique opportunity for attendees to obtain third-party certification that recognizes their competence in selecting, installing and managing important communications solutions,” said Bill Kelly.  “As a part of ITEXPO, TMC University also provides a tremendous networking opportunity, and I’m looking forward to the entire event, catching up with colleagues and learning more about the latest solutions on the expo floor.”

Bill Kelly is an accomplished telecommunications marketing professional with nearly two decades of experience in the industry.  Bill has extensive domestic and international business knowledge, with a reputation for helping companies build awareness and establish partner relationships with vendors, service providers, and industry influencers.  Throughout his career, Bill has held senior positions with industry leaders including Cantata Technologies, Excel Switching, Lucent Technologies, Rockwell International, Argent Networks, Fibronics and most recently, with Pulvermedia (News - Alert), where he played a prominent role building conference content for the VON events.

Admittance to TMC University courses is included with any paid conference plan.  Registration for ITEXPO is open, and anyone interested in attending may register by visiting www.itexpo.com.  Limited booth space is still available, and interested vendors can contact Dave Rodriguez at 1-203-852-6800, ext. 146 or at drodriguez@tmcnet.com.  Members of the media interested in press passes should contact Todd Keefe (News - Alert) at todd@firpr.com
