InformationWeek Names Aternity to Startup 50 List
Apr 26, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Aternity Inc., a developer of end user experience management solutions for Global 1000 enterprises, announced that it has been named to InformationWeek's Startup 50 list.
Companies named to the list must undergo a three-step voting process that includes nomination, online voting, and editorial vetting. InformationWeek creates the list to provide IT stakeholders with an analysis of companies that represent the ability to solve IT problems, cut costs, and improve operations.
"The companies that made our list were assessed on the following criteria: innovation in technology or business model; value, delivered in lower costs, increased sales, higher productivity, or improved customer loyalty; and enterprise readiness, meaning a product that scales and is ready for deployment," said Andrew Conry Murray, New Products and Business Editor at InformationWeek.
"We are honored to be recognized by InformationWeek as a top 50 startup," said Trevor Matz, President and CEO of Aternity. "We continue to be encouraged by the industry recognition of our FPI Platform and the business benefits our Global 2000 customers are achieving by implementing a user-centric approach to proactive IT management."
The Aternity FPI Platform monitors and analyzes in real-time the three core components that interact, define, and constantly impact end user IT experience - in both real and virtual desktop environments: application performance, desktop performance, and user productivity. Coupled with analytics capabilities, the company said that Aternity FPI Platform arms customers and partners with the ability to generate Frontline Performance Intelligence from enterprise applications within days. Proactive IT enterprises are leveraging a Frontline Performance Intelligence strategy, based on Aternity's platform, to drive IT and business initiatives such as preemptive problem detection, probable cause analysis, informed capacity planning, application licensing optimization, and desktop virtualization management and orchestration, the company noted in a release.
