HaiVision Network Video acquires KulaByte

Jul 22, 2011 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- HaiVision Network Video has acquired KulaByte Corporation, a developer of video encoding and streaming software solutions. Both the companies are based in the US.

HaiVision Network Video is a US-based provider of advanced video networking, digital signage and IP video distribution solutions.

Simultaneously, HaiVision Network has also acquired MontiVision Imaging Technologies.


Following these transactions, the technologies of both KulaByte and MontiVision, including advanced encoding, transcoding, cloud computing and workflow solutions, will be combined to form Haivision's new Internet media division. This division will be focused on developing technologies to deliver OTT media and to power enterprise social media networks.
