Discovery Communications acquires betty

Nov 08, 2011 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Discovery Communications, Inc., a US-based media and entertainment company, has acquired betty, a UK-based contemporary factual television series producer for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV and Sky.


Clarity Capital Partners Limited acted as financial advisor and Wiggin LLP acted as legal advisor to betty, while HRO Grant Dawe LLP acted as legal advisor to Discovery Communications on the transaction.
