Eyewear Goes Social and Viral with EyeTrendsTM the Ultimate Eyewear App for iPhone, iPad & Android

Wilton, CT, Nov 09, 2011 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Jobson Internet Solutions (JIS), a leading internet marketing and e- business consulting group, announced the debut of their new mobile application, EyeTrends. EyeTrends is a free iPhone, iPad and Android mobile app used to search, try-on, and geo-locate eyeglass and sunglass styles. The app features tens of thousands of current eyewear styles from top designer brands. The app also offers coupons, rebates and incentives that allow consumers to save big on their eyewear purchases.

"We have created a revolutionary app that harnesses the power of today's mobile devices and enables consumers to learn about current eyewear fashion trends, then search, try-on, locate, and save on today's most popular styles," said Joe Savarese, President of Jobson Internet Solutions.

At no cost, users can download the app and have instant access to a wide range of coupons contained within the app. These coupons offer generous discounts and rebates on selected eyewear products and styles. The application also provides a "Where to Buy" function which lists retailers that carry those particular brands in the consumer's geographic area.

"The EyeTrends app helps direct consumers to brick and mortar eye care professional retailers. There are more than 50,000 eyecare professionals and optical retailers listed in our app, and our unique coupon feature can help you save on your very next purchase," Savarese added.

The only free app boasting tens of thousands of eyewear styles, EyeTrends also offers users the ability to try on frames with the applications handy "virtual try on" function. By either taking a photo with the device, selecting an existing photo or using a stock model image provided in the app, users can easily try frames on. Using simple touch gestures, users can then re-position the high quality frame image for the perfect fit. The completed image can be saved, or if looking for a second opinion, can be shared with family and friends via email, Facebook or Twitter. Users will also have access to expert tips and advice on the latest eyeglass and sunglass trends with the app's "Trendoids" feature. Fueled by 20/20 magazine, Trendoids is an easy way for users to be constantly updated with the hottest trends, styles and fashions impacting the exciting world of eyewear. The app is a must have for the fashion conscious consumer.
