Optical Keyhole Offers New Content from Verizon, Juniper and Alcatel-Lucent

Feb 24, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Optical Keyhole announced it is currently carrying 2 discussions between Verizon, Juniper Networks, Fujitsu Network Communications, and Source Photonics.

According to a release, in the first, Glenn Wellbrock, Director of Backbone Network Design at Verizon, is joined by Hans-Juergen Schmidtke of Juniper Networks and Near Margalit of Source Photonics on how systems vendors and network providers can work with the optical component developers to generate and maintain innovation in the industry.


In the second, Verizon is joined by Juniper and Fujitsu Network Communications and consider how to simplify connectivity for the end user, the technologies that could facilitate this, such as OTN and the latest ROADMs, and how to use capacity more efficiently.
