SailPoint Extends Global Footprint, Adds Major European Companies to Its Customer Base
LONDON --(Business Wire)--
SailPoint,
the leading provider of governance-based identity management solutions,
continues its steady global expansion and has signed more than a dozen
of Europe's largest companies as customers in the last six months.
SailPoint's European customer base now includes prestigious companies
such as: Aviva, Nordea, Rabobank International, Sanofi-Aventis Group,
Société Générale, Swedbank, Tesco Bank and UBS, among others. To support
this growth, SailPoint also announced it has opened a Centre of
Excellence in Germany as well as a development center in Israel.
Some of the world's largest companies rely upon SailPoint
IdentityIQ™ to help proactively mitigate risk, reduce IT costs, and
ensure compliance associated with user access controls. SailPoint's
award-winning governance-based identity management solution provides
enterprises with full visibility into their identity data, and enables
them to automate the business processes associated with user access
controls while ensuring the company's corporate policies are enforced.
"At Rabobank, we needed a solution to better address stringent
compliance requirements and manage security risk associated with user
access," said Jethro Cornelissen, global head of security operations for
Rabobank International. "SailPoint IdentityIQ will allow us to move from
a manual process that provided fragmented visibility into our identity
controls to a fully automated process that provides full visbility into
and control over our enterprise identity data. The product has been
received enthusiastically by business users and other security units who
immediately ask, 'When can we have it?' when they see the information it
can provide."
SailPoint's customers
represent a who's who list of the world's largest companies, all of whom
require an identity management solution that can scale to support large
global deployments. In order to prove that IdentityIQ could meet and
exceed the performance and scalability metrics of these customers,
SailPoint recently conducted a series of benchmark tests, sponsored by
two of the world's largest financial services companies. During the
testing, IdentityIQ demonstrated the ability to support an environment
of thousands of applications while aggregating massive amounts of
identity data: more than 100,000 users, millions of accounts and more
than 10 million entitlements. For more information on the testing,
please see the press release: SailPoint
Supports World's Largest Identity Governance Deployments.
"In today's global economy, government mandates know no boundaries and
affect almost every Global 1000 company," said Kevin Cunningham,
president and cofounder of SailPoint. "These companies are also facing
the complex challenge of providing secure access for hundreds of
thousands of employees. Our market success is a direct result of our
ability to deliver innovative solutions that address these identity
management challenges in a measureable and demonstrable way. As more and
more companies experience the real benefits of our governance-based
approach to identity management, SailPoint will continue to build our
ability to provide service and support to our customers, who currently
span dozens of countries."
