euromicron's subsidiary MICROSENS premiered the new generation of its FTTO
switch for cost-effective fiber-optic networking in buildings at CeBIT 2012
and so is blazing the way as part of the Group's goal to keep on innovating
Frankfurt / Hamm, 2nd April 2012 - euromicron's subsidiary MICROSENS, the
German specialist for fiber-optic transmission systems, has presented the
latest generation of its tried-and-tested Gigabit Ethernet installation
switch, marking a further milestone in the area of FTTO in-house
networking.
The product innovation from MICROSENS is the first result of increased
investment by euromicron in developing new products and solutions and in
updating its existing portfolio. 'It underscores our mission to be a
leading all-round solution provider for network infrastructures in Germany
with products and services that repeatedly occupy a top position,' explains

The Gigabit switches newly developed by MICROSENS boast higher performance,
offer greatly enhanced energy efficiency and for the first time support
Energy Efficient Ethernet and IPv6 dual stack. Together with the optimized
case design, the new 'generation 6' installation switches represent a
future-proof basis for all coming requirements for modern office
environments. The 'Fiber To The Office' (FTTO) concept developed by
MICROSENS combines the advantages of powerful fiber-optic technology with
the flexibility of copper-based twisted-pair cabling and thus greatly helps
reduce power and operating costs in modern office environments long term.
