ENTx Capital sells Cognera to Harris Computer Systems (Constellation Software)

Apr 06, 2012 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- ENTx Capital Corporation, an investment company, has sold Cognera Corporation, a provider of billing, business intelligence and information solutions, to Harris Computer Systems, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Constellation Software, Inc. All the entities are based in Canada.


Constellation is a provider of software and services, while Harris Computer is a provider of financial management and customer information systems (CIS) software solution.

Pursuant to the transaction, Cognera will become a business unit within the Harris Utilities Group and will continue to focus on providing a better level of customer engagement including industry and regulatory expertise to its customers from its base in Calgary.
