SmartStop(R) Self Storage Releases Radio Spot Featuring Winner of the 2011 Sing It Smart! Video Jingle Contest

SmartStop(R) Self Storage, a chain of innovative self-storage
facilities that stretches across North America, launched its first
radio commercial campaign today in the markets of Las Vegas and the
Atlanta metro area.
The 60-second spot features an original jingle written by a
23-year-old music teacher from Athens, Ala., who won a $5,000 grand
prize last fall in the national "Sing It Smart!" video jingle
contest. Brent Morgan obtaining the highest number of votes on
Facebook with his catchy guitar solo "Goodbye Clutter, Hello
Floors!(SM)" beating out 14 other finalists.
"The results of our contest -- and the obvious time and energy put in
by the contestants -- were so impressive that we knew the winning
entry had to go on air," said H. Michael Schwartz, CEO and Chairman
of Strategic Storage Trust, Inc. (SSTI), the publicly registered

The jingle was professionally recorded and mixed with a voice-over to
announce a new promotion "SmartStop bucks the system." The commercial
will be aired for up to three months on a variety of stations in both
markets. SmartStop has a concentration of 19 retail locations in the
Atlanta area and eight in the Las Vegas area.
