Communities In Schools Announces Partnership with BoardSource

Communities In Schools, the leading organization dedicated to empowering students to stay in school and achieve in life, is proud to announce its partnership with BoardSource, the leading provider of resources related to exceptional nonprofit governance standards.

Through the partnership, the first in BoardSource's new organizational membership program, Communities In Schools staff and volunteer leaders across 200 state offices and local affiliates will be provided with resources and a forum to share their experiences, perspectives, insight and advice.

Communities In Schools is the first organization to establish an organizational membership with BoardSource, and the two organizations will collect data in order to assess how this depth of engagement could help strengthen the organizational membership program for other nonprofit networks.
