RingPlus and Sprint Reports Private Label Service Pact
Apr 12, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Ring Plus, Inc and Sprint announced that the companies have entered into an agreement whereby RingPlus will operate as a private label services provider using the Sprint wireless network.
Under this agreement, RingPlus customers will have access to service anywhere on the Nationwide Sprint Network, reaching more than 275 million people.
According to a release, RingPlus, a RingBack Tone company, is targeting a 3Q launch of their new wireless voice offering in three metropolitan areas: New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. RingPlus will take full advantage of its technology, which is at the head of the RingBack Tone market as its key differentiator in the marketplace.
Their RingBack technology will deliver a unique user experience as callers will enjoy interactive content before a phone call is answered by replacing the RingBack tone with individualized sports news, location-based targeted mobile coupons, consumer preferred music and social network messages from friends.
RingPlus is a privately held MVNO, VoIP and value-added services provider offering services in the telecom industry.
