Associa Cares Aids Illinois Family

Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of Associa, recently donated $1,000 to an Illinois family on behalf of Vanguard Community Management.

Bill and Amy Brueggert's basement suffered flood damage February 15, 2012. The family plans to use the money for costs of rebuilding the basement.

"While we were saddened to learn about this tragic incident, we are glad we had the resources available to help the Brueggert family," said Vanguard President and CEO Christine Evans. "They are truly deserving of the aid, and I am glad we are able to quickly arrange for this assistance."

Associa Cares relies on volunteers from national and local committees to help identify people in both Associa and non-Associa managed communities affected by tragedies. Gina Rossi and Vanguard Community Management notified Associa about the family and their loss.
