Synnex Teams with SoftLayer to Introduce Scalable Cloud Infrastructure to CloudSolv Platform

Synnex Corp., a distributor of IT products and services, announced that SoftLayer's suite of infrastructure services are available for reseller partners through Synnex' CloudSolv platform.
The Company said this partnership offers Synnex resellers an alternative cloud infrastructure solution for customers that may not be able to invest in hardware refresh, but need to adopt new technologies without being locked into dated hardware.
"Synnex resellers now have an alternative to traditional, capital expenditure intensive, on-premise servers with the addition of SoftLayer to the CloudSolv platform," said Peter Larocque, President, US Distribution for Synnex Corp. According to a release, SoftLayer's global cloud infrastructure gives resellers advantages and capabilities not found with other cloud services. Softlayer's pay-as-you-go Cloud Computing Instances are deployed in minutes and can be scaled to meet workloads with no long-term commitments. SoftLayer's Managed and Dedicated hosting plans through CloudSolv allow for full customization and automation for higher scalability and control. Servers can be deployed in hours, not days, giving users access to on-demand cloud-enabled computing, storage, and content delivery.
