Adchemy Adds Kartik Ramakrishnan to Leadership Team

Adchemy, an online advertising technology company, announced the appointment of Kartik Ramakrishnan as senior vice president and general manager, Adchemy Software.
The Company said Kartik comes to Adchemy from Yahoo, where he was vice president, engineering for Yahoo web and vertical search products. In his new role, Kartik will lead all product development, services and go-to-market functions for the Adchemy IntentMap technology platform.

According to a release, Kartik led Yahoo's Algorithmic Search Transition efforts across more than 50 global markets, successfully integrating Yahoo's consumer search products with Microsoft's Bing search platform. He also served as vice president of Product Planning at Yahoo, responsible for product & portfolio planning and program management for Yahoo's consumer & social search offerings. Prior to joining Yahoo, he was director of Middleware Platforms at Oracle, leading outbound product management and go-to-market activities for the Fusion Middleware suite of products. Kartik is also a seasoned entrepreneur, having co-founded & led QUIQ, Inc., an early company focused on Q&A-based knowledge networks. He holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a Master of Science in Computer Sciences from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin.
