BRIEF: Marvin Crumbs out as principal at Columbus High after showing Ron White video clip
Apr 17, 2012 (Columbus Ledger-Enquirer - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
Marvin Crumbs is out as principal at Columbus High School.
Muscogee County School District Director of Communications Valerie Fuller said Crumbs has been reassigned to a position in the department of academics.
Crumbs came under fire after the school district received complaints about a video clip of comedian Ron White's "You Can't Fix Stupid" being shown by Crumbs at a faculty meeting.
The video was reviewed and deemed inappropriate for a professional setting.
"It was meant to be a morale booster," Fuller said.
