Network Equipment Technologies Supports Jordan Ahli Bank's Goal to Enhance Communications

Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. ("NET") (NASDAQ: NWK), a

SIP Trunking and enterprise mobility, today announced that Ahli Bank,
a Jordan-based, publicly held financial institution serving the
banking needs of both commercial entities and individuals, is
successfully deploying NET's VX Series as the organization's
strategic IP telephony solution to modernize communication and to
gain cost efficiencies while expanding unified communications (UC)
capabilities throughout the organization.
NET supported Ahli Bank's initial deployment of enterprise voice
capabilities to approximately 250 users, and expects to expand to its
other branches. Operating as a media gateway, NET's equipment allowed
Ahli Bank to fully integrate the solution with its existing PBX
environment, thus keeping costs and service disruption to a minimum.
In addition to equipment, NET provided local technical expertise.

Jordanian market, using NET's VX Series to deliver integration
between Ahli Bank's existing PBX equipment and its Microsoft Office
Lync Server environment.
