InTechnology Introduces PCI-certified Managed Payment Service

Apr 19, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- InTechnology announced the launch of a PCI-certified managed service called PaySecure Connect.

The cloud services provider reported it has partnered with Phoenix Managed Networks and Mako Networks to deliver a resilient MPLS network and a secure PCI-certified payment infrastructure which is also capable of delivering managed voice and data services over the same secure connection.

According to a release, PaySecure Connect has been developed to overcome the complexity of achieving and maintaining compliance with PCI data security standards and offers consolidated payments authorisation between the retailer and banks with a scalable communication and managed services network.

Natalie Duffield, customer management director at InTechnology said, "PaySecure Connect provides a fully secure retail network environment for payment and managed voice and data services. It is a way for retailers - and other organisations who take credit card transactions - to reduce the risk of non-compliance with PCI regulations while benefiting from the latest connectivity technologies, reduced costs, and improved speeds and performance." Alan Stephenson-Brown, UK director of Phoenix Managed Networks, said, "Maintaining PCI compliance is complex even for the experts and is certainly beyond most merchants. PaySecure Connect is the first that has been externally certified level 1 PCI DSS compliant but also crucially it is easy to implement and takes away a significant part of the burden faced by merchants when attempting to achieve compliance.

"With PaySecure Connect there are a number of operational advantages. Rapid transaction times, improved customer throughput and 24/7 support is included with every licence. No matter how many managed services you opt for, you'll only have to deal with one expert supplier."
