CenterWatch launches online data library of the clinical research industry

CenterWatch, a leading provider of business information and market intelligence on the clinical research industry, announced today the release of its new online Data Library.

The online resource features hundreds of compelling charts and tables and is organized into seven chapters covering all aspects of the clinical research enterprise. From global economic trends and clinical research practices to partnerships, drug development pipelines and performance, the library is a compilation of data from various sources including proprietary primary and secondary research and analysis performed by CenterWatch staff.

Detailed quantitative analysis on the size and changing structure of the global investigative site landscape; yearly ebbs and flows in the volume and global placement of clinical trials activity by phase; detailed measures on the quality of relationships between contract research organizations, research sponsors and investigative sites; and trends in the incidence of new patien recruitment, study monitoring and e-clinical technology usage practices are but a few of the areas presented in the new online CenterWatch Data Library.

The easy-to-use platform allows users to download, copy and paste chart images into PowerPoint and Word documents for use in business presentations, strategic plans, reports, training seminars and roundtable meetings. CenterWatch plans to regularly update the Data Library.

The Online Data Library replaces CenterWatch's best-selling and now retired statistical sourcebook State of the Clinical Trials Industry, published annually since 1997.
