Teradici to Provide In-Depth Look into PCoIP® Zero Clients on May 1 Live Webinar
BURNABY, British Columbia --(Business Wire)--
Teradici,
the developer of the PC-over-IP® (PCoIP®)
protocol, will host a live webinar on May 1 on the topic of secure, high
performance virtual desktops with PCoIP® zero clients. As part of the
"True Experience. Network Delivered." webinar series, Teradici will
provide an inside look into how the PCoIP protocol and zero clients with
VMware View™ deliver a rich user experience, exceptional data security
and lower IT costs.
Many organizations are considering desktop virtualization to reduce
costs and tighten corporate data security by bringing desktops into the
data center. However, traditional approaches using thin clients or
repurposed PCs still require patches and protection from viruses. This
in-depth webinar led by Ziad Lammam, director of product management of
the Desktop Solutions Group at Teradici will cover:
-
PCoIP protocol overview and architecture
-
Zero client definition, benefits and differences over traditional thin
clients and repurposed PCs
-
New features for zero clients with VMware View
-
PCoIP Management Console overview
-
Zero client customer case studies
