Colfax International Announces Developer Training for Intel(R) Xeon Phi(TM) Coprocessor

Sunnyvale, CA, Nov 08, 2012 ( via COMTEX) -- Colfax International, a leading provider of high performance computing solutions, today unveiled exciting new professional training programs for developers, giving them an early start with application design for the Intel(R) Xeon Phi(TM) coprocessor.

Colfax Developer Training (CDT) will discuss the applicability of the Intel many-core technology, demonstrate the programming models for Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor including native execution and offload-based approaches, and provide extensive optimization techniques.

CDT is designed for developers wishing to leverage the innovative Intel many- and multi-core products or sharpen their parallel programming skills, and allow the attendees to make informed decisions regarding the suitability of the Intel Xeon family products for their workloads.

Additionally Colfax will also conduct onsite training, and offer custom training programs.

Colfax will demonstrate the Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor based developer workstation and registering attendees for their training class at SC12 show in the Colfax booth #2409 and a theater presentation, "Maximizing Performance with Intel Xeon Phi Coprocessor" at the Intel booth #2601.
