HMS Wins Prestigious Information Technology Awards

HMS Holdings Corp. (News - Alert) (NASDAQ: HMSY) announced today that Ventana Research named the company the winner of the analytics category at its 7^th annual Leadership Awards yesterday. Mike Klinkenberg, senior director of business intelligence for HMS, also won the Overall IT Leader Award.

The Leadership Awards recognize organizations and supporting technology vendors that have achieved superior results through people, processes, information, and technology while applying best practices within specific business and technology categories.

HMS won the analytics category for advancing analytics capabilities by leveraging key partners in data warehousing, data integration, big data analytics, and business intelligence, such as Teradata (News - Alert), Informatica, and MicroStrategy. HMS's Klinkenberg won the Overall IT Leader Award for working with key partners to deliver significant information technology improvements at HMS.
