BUYINS.NET: Market Maker Surveillance Report. BBD, PFE, SIRI, INFA, CHTP, GBEN, Highest Net Sell Volume and Negative Price Friction For Friday, December 7th 2012

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 4132 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2646 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2703 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Friday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Banco Bradesco SA (NYSE:BBD), Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE), Sirius XM Radio Inc (NASDAQ:SIRI), INFORMATICA CORPORATION (NASDAQ:INFA), Chelsea Therapeutics International Ltd (NASDAQ:CHTP), (OTC:GBEN). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction BBD $-0.080 -0.47% 2,019,852 22.11% 2,942,523 32.21% -922,671 -115,334 PFE $-0.050 -0.20% 8,105,358 26.50% 10,965,074 35.84% -2,859,716 -571,943 SIRI $-0.030 -1.08% 32,987,678 44.24% 41,450,734 55.59% -8,463,056 -2,821,019 INFA $-0.080 -0.32% 1,068,856 31.23% 2,353,177 68.76% -1,284,321 -160,540 CHTP $-0.100 -10.07% 1,051,679 31.63% 2,268,254 68.22% -1,216,575 -121,658 GBEN $-0.014 -23.73% 1,100,115 30.73% 2,479,878 69.27% -1,379,763 -985,545 Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows BBD down $-0.08000 with a Friction Factor of -115,334 and a Net Volume of -922,671. That means that it takes 115,334 more shares of selling than buying to drop BBD by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
