Matrix Medical Network Announces New Leader of Member and Provider Services

Matrix Medical Network, a national leader in prospective medical assessment services for Medicare Advantage plan members, has announced that Steve Tatarian will serve as the company's senior vice president-member and provider services. He will report to John Moore, Matrix's senior vice president-process and productivity, and work out of the company's Clearwater (Fla.) Member Contact and Service Center. His duties will include overall leadership and management of the center's operations.

"The value we deliver to our clients and their Medicare Advantage plan members all begins at the Clearwater Member Contact and Service Center," said Matrix's CEO Randy Dobbs. "Without a member saying 'yes,' we can't schedule a clinician to visit the member, and without the visit, our clients lose out on revenue opportunities and their members miss out on the valuable care coordination and education services delivered by our clinicians. With Steve's extensive experience in leading operations such as ours and in providing services to seniors we will continue to make positive improvements at our center and ensure it is the best in our industry."

Previously, Mr. Tatarian was director of sales for West Corporation, a $2.5 billion business process outsourcing company; vice president of sales operations for Rackspace (News - Alert) Managed Hosting; vice president of sales and marketing for Checks in the Mail, a leading direct marketer and supplier of bank checks; and director of sales for the Moore Corporation Ltd.

In each of these positions, Mr. Tatarian was responsible for telesales and customer service functions.

Mr. Tatarian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in marketing, from California State University, Fresno, and attended the Executive Management Development Program at Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business, in Evanston, Ill.
