TE Connectivity features new developments in data center connectivity at Cisco Live!; World leader in fiber connectivity to highlight latest space-saving innovations

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) KESSEL-LO, Belgium -- TE Connectivity, a Cisco Registered Developer, will be demonstrating new infrastructure connectivity solutions on stand G13 at Cisco Live! 28th January 1st February, 2013 at ICC London ExCel. TE will be highlighting the most space and facility efficient infrastructure design to support migration through three generations of data center evolution from 10G, through 40G, to 100G. The key to TEs solution is a unique low-loss connector that creates a space-saving, flexible and consistent fiber infrastructure that meets current needs while providing a consistent and agile foundation upon which data centers can evolve in the future.

Also new at Cisco Live! is TEs core vertical switch management platform (Core VSM), an innovative answer to the challenges posed in the data center by high-density core switches with a vertical blade configuration. This solution removes the need for cable management at the side of a frame and enables data center managers to save space, reduce cost and improve data center operational efficiency by ensuring clear representation of the switch ports and ease of access.

In addition to these space-saving solutions for the core of the data center, TE will be showing products, used by many of the worlds leading telecom operators, that address the unique challenges of the data center entrance room as well as a new mobile application for TEs Infrastructure Configuration Management (ICM) software. The TE exhibit provides visitors with the opportunity to share information and ideas on the latest network technologies, includingrealistic data center scenarios displaying seamless support for Cisco technologies.
