Vitesse Increases Market Presence in Asia With WPI Group

Recent Infonetics (News - Alert) reports project that telecom operators will increase equipment investment in 2013. Asia Pacific is expected to account for approximately one-third of global service provider revenue by 2016, primarily spurred by China Mobile. Major areas of investment include fiber-based broadband, 2G mobile network capacity expansion, as well as migration to 3G and LTE (News - Alert). Indeed, China is expected to be the largest mobile broadband market by 2016, with an estimated 639 million mobile broadband connections, according to GSMA (News - Alert) reports.
