CHICAGO and LONDON, Jan 16, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Family Office Exchange (FOX), a global membership organization of single family offices and their advisors, today announced the appointment of Christian Sulger-Buel as Managing Director, FOX International. He will be responsible for supporting and expanding the FOX network of financially successful families and their advisors around the world.

Mr. Sulger-Buel has extensive experience working with family offices and wealth advisors. Since 1999, he has operated his own consultancy helping families set up and recruit for their Family Offices.

Mr. Sulger-Buel will work with member families, helping them apply FOX-identified best practices for dealing with the challenges they face in managing their wealth, their businesses, and their families. FOX's expertise arises from 23 years of working with financially successful families around the world through consulting projects, networking events, and proprietary research endeavors.

"The FOX base of knowledge is rich and powerful for helping families benefit from the experience of other successful families," Mr. Sulger-Buel said. "FOX's loyal global members in 20 countries provide a strong network of peers with whom to collaborate and solve the problems of tomorrow. We aim to enrich that network with other families that don't know about the unmatched resources FOX has to offer." Christian's experience in private wealth management includes two years as Deputy General Manager for Paribas Monaco and four years as Associate Director at Paribas' Head Office in Paris leading the team responsible for the ultra-high net worth clients. For six years, while running the Paribas Private Banking office in London, he also managed the team (Paris, London, Luxembourg, Zurich, and Geneva) serving Middle Eastern private clientele. He began his career at Continental Illinois National Bank working in Belgium, France, and Spain.

Mr. Sulger-Buel has a degree in Law from the University of Nancy (France) and an MA in Political Sciences from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. He speaks French, English, German and Spanish and has been knighted by the French government with the Order of Merit.
