Insperity Announces Launch of New Retirement Planning App

HOUSTON --(Business Wire)--

Insperity, Inc. (NYSE: NSP), a leading provider of human resources and business performance solutions for America's best businesses, today announced the launch of a new retirement planning application for iOS and, soon, Android (News - Alert) devices. The free app from InsperityTM Retirement Services provides quick, secure access to an array of 401(k) account information.

"The new Insperity Retirement app for Apple (News - Alert) and Android devices complements our recently enhanced online Retirement Service CenterSM, which has experienced a 30 percent increase in use by plan participants since last year's rollout," said Richard Rawson, Insperity president. "We understand that 401(k) accoun holders want to be able to access their plans anywhere, anytime, and the app puts that access at their fingertips."


Plan participants can use the app to review their 401(k) balances, recent contributions and current rates of return. Users also can check on contribution rates and investment allocations, verify loan balances and stay informed through plan news and alerts.

The app is the culmination of a two-year project to redesign and expand the Retirement Service Center, allowing plan sponsors and participants full capabilities to manage their 401(k) online. Through the Retirement Service Center, employees can enroll, change contribution rates and investment elections, add beneficiaries, take out a loan or make a withdrawal without having to submit paper forms. Plan sponsors, likewise, have full access to detailed plan activity, on-demand reports and copies of plan documents.
