StartMeApp Selected by ClickMagic to Deliver Innovative Mobile Advertising Campaign for Banelco

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA (PRWEB) January 31, 2013 StartMeApp (http://www.StartMeApp.com), Latin America’s leading mobile ad network, today announced its selection by ClickMagic, the leading performance marketing company in Latin America, to deploy the innovative “Take your Bank to the Beach with You” mobile advertising campaign on behalf of ClickMagic Argentina’s client Banelco.

The click-to-action mobile advertising campaign delivered by StartMeApp engages Argentine consumers on their smartphone and tablet devices on behalf of Banelco, the nationwide automated teller (ATM) network serving the private banking system throughout Argentina.

Delivering “Take your Bank to the Beach with You” mobile ads to smartphone and tablet devices at the height of Argentina’s January-February summer season, the campaign prompts users to download Banelco’s mobile application so that they can carry out all their normal electronic banking operations easily and securely from remote locations over their mobile devices.

Using Banelco’s mobile app, consumers are able to pay their regular bills, check their account balances and transfer funds, whether at the beach or wherever they are during the summer holidays. In the process, the advertising campaign serves to raise the visibility of the Banelco brand, builds customer loyalty and helps to drive increased utilization of the nationwide electronic banking system.

“StartMeApp is pleased to be partnering with ClickMagic to provide Banelco with access to the sophisticated mobile traffic-targeting of our world-class mobile ad-serving platform, as well as our extensive in-country market segmentation research, helping them to engage Argentine consumers and drive downloads of the Banelco mobile application,” said Natalia Escual, Director of Global Sales, StartMeApp.

“Mobile consumers in Argentina increasingly rely on their smartphones and tablets to get the information and content they need for everything from shopping to travel, entertainment, fitness and personal financial management,” said Cecilia Gómez Leivas, Southern Cone Regional Manager, StartMeApp. “We are very pleased to be enabling Banelco and other Argentine companies to reach their customers via their mobile devices, utilizing StartMeApp’s comprehensive mobile advertising solution, tailored to the objectives of each individual advertiser.” Mobile advertising stands poised to increase dramatically in Argentina, where recent studies have shown that smartphone penetration stands at 24%, far higher than the overall Latin American regional average of 11% smartphone penetration for 2012. More than two-thirds of Argentina’s consumers say they make purchases on their mobile phones at least once a month, while nearly three-quarters say they use their smartphones to access the Internet on a daily basis and 86% say they take notice of mobile ads while using their smartphone devices.

As Latin American smartphone usage and mobile ad viewing increase rapidly, media owners, publishers and networks, as well as brands and creative advertising agencies have been relying increasingly on StartMeApp to guide them through the maze of Latin American mobile markets and ad networks, helping them to serve their mobile apps across the region’s 27 countries, complex demographics, multiple platforms, carriers and handheld devices.

An independent, privately owned mobile advertising network, StartMeApp’s ad-serving technology connects its network with all principle ad networks, ad exchanges and content publishers worldwide, utilizing a unique algorithm that enables automated optimization of a client’s advertising budget, determining in real-time which sources of inventory are most suited to provide the client with optimal advertising results.

StartMeApp’s unique ad-serving capabilities combine with the extensive mobile expertise and experience of StartMeApp management and staff to provide the highest possible return on mobile advertising investment for clients in Latin America, the U.S. Hispanic market and emerging mobile advertising markets worldwide.
