M2M Evolution Magazine Selects CradlePoint's Ken Hosac for Advisory Board

Boise, Idaho, Feb 01, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Ken Hosac, CradlePoint's vice president of business development, has joined the advisory board for M2M Evolution magazine, a new publication from TMC. The magazine, which launched in January, provides in-depth coverage of the shift toward greater connectivity in the rapidly expanding machine-to-machine environment.

At CradlePoint, Hosac's experiences developing networking products with wireless carriers and engaging enterprises on mass deployments provide him with the insights into the opportunities and challenges of the M2M space. These insights will contribute to the vision and editorial voice of the magazine. Hosac has 23 years of experience in product management, development, manufacturing, and sales at technology companies that include CradlePoint, Casabyte, and Hewlett Packard.

About Ken Hosac, Vice President of Business Development At CradlePoint, Ken has served in both product management and more recently business development, where his focus is on wireless carriers, network equipment manufacturers, and system integrators. Ken has 23 years experience in marketing, sales, development and manufacturing. Prior to joining CradlePoint, Ken served as VP of Marketing for Casabyte (later acquired by JDS Uniphase), the leading provider of service validation solutions to wireless service providers. Ken also served as VP of Business Development for GoAhead Software (later acquired by Oracle), the leading provider of high availability software to communication infrastructure providers. Ken earlier spent 10 years at Hewlett Packard with cable modems & headends, set-top boxes and personal computers in a variety of engineering and engineering management roles. Ken holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering, both from Stanford University.
