U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Expands AtHoc Emergency Communication System for Enterprise-Wide Personnel Protection

A transparent failover system was added to a hosted data center, ensuring full continuity of operations during extreme crisis situations. In addition to reaching all computers with intrusive emergency desktop alerts, USPTO has extended vital alerting redundancy with telephony and Cisco IP phone notification capabilities to more reliably reach all personnel.
