BUYINS.NET: Market Maker Surveillance Report. CMCSA, PFE, BAC, PBI, MSFT, QQQ, Highest Net Buy Volume With Lowest Price Friction For Friday, April 19th 2013

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 3968 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3229 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1858 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Comcast Corp (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE), BANK OF AMERICA CORPORATION (NYSE:BAC), Pitney Bowes Inc (NYSE:PBI), MICROSOFT CORPORATION (NASDAQ:MSFT), Powershares Qqq Trust Series 1 (NASDAQ:QQQ). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction CMCSA $0.560 1.40% 8,391,015 57.99% 5,825,880 40.26% 2,565,135 45,806 PFE $0.410 1.34% 9,875,095 34.25% 6,435,663 22.32% 3,439,432 83,889 BAC $0.200 1.75% 37,093,344 31.39% 34,446,405 29.15% 2,646,939 132,347 PBI $0.070 0.46% 4,828,049 60.36% 1,793,033 22.41% 3,035,016 433,574 MSFT $0.960 3.33% 54,774,369 55.59% 42,765,061 43.40% 12,009,308 125,097 QQQ $0.830 1.24% 22,957,712 53.98% 19,368,823 45.54% 3,588,889 43,240 Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows CMCSA with a Net Buy Volume of 2,565,135 shares and a Friction Factor of 45,806 shares. That means that it takes 45,806 more shares of buying than selling to move CMCSA higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
