Majic Paints Reviews Its Tractor, Truck, & Implement Enamel to Introduce Lower VOC Line

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Columbus, OH (PRWEB) January 08, 2014 Majic Paints has welcomed to the market a complete line of oil-based Tractor, Truck, & Implement Enamels with lower volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Available in over 20 different colors, this lower VOC line meets the environmental regulations in existence in all 50 states, allowing it to be sold coast to coast.

The introduction of the Majic Tractor, Truck, & Implement line comes after years of research and testing, to ensure that this high quality product meets all of the requirements of its customers.

VOCs are solvents that get released into the air as the paint dries. Many products emit these solvents, including paint, adhesives, cleaning supplies and even some home furnishings. The Majic Tractor, Truck, & Implement replaces these solvents with resin, allowing for an even higher performance product. The paint is thicker and therefore goes farther. Kathy Streng, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, says the enamel’s reworked formula gives customers a new reason to buy, “Majic Tractor, Truck, & Implement Enamel covers an additional 100 sq. ft. per gallon which gives our customers a better value in each gallon.” Lower VOC enamels are thicker, which means they need to be applied in one thin coat and allowed to dry 24 hours before applying a second coat. “Any extra effort to apply this high quality, oil based product that complies with lower VOC regulations is worth it,” Streng said.

Oil-based paints are remarkably durable and adhere extremely well to surfaces that become chalky. Oil-based paints are also very versatile, which allows them to be used on most exterior surfaces. They dry to a hard, glossy finish. The slower drying process creates a better flow and provides a smooth finish that allows brush marks to level out with little additional effort.

Majic Paints is also assisting consumers with the adjustment to the new formula of these enamels. To help reduce the dry time, Majic Paints offers the Majic Catalyst Hardener as part of its system. When a half-pint of Majic Catalyst Hardner is added to a gallon of Tractor, Truck, & Implement Enamel, the drying time is reduced. The Catalyst Hardener also increases the gloss and durability of the enamel.

Majic Paints also offers a zero VOC reducer that provides the ideal consistency for spraying its Tractor, Truck, & Implement Enamel. The Majic Reducer, along with the Majic Catalyst Hardener, gives customers the perfect combination of products to use when painting their equipment. Streng says that Majic Paints promises to continue making improvements that benefit the environment and its consumers, “Majic Paints is committed to continued research and development of low VOC products that provide exceptional durability and the easiest application possible.” For more information about Majic Paints and its products, please visit Majic Paints can be purchased at your local Majic dealer.
