Rapid7 Garners Award for Customer Service and Innovation [Manufacturing Close - Up]

(Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Rapid7, a provider of IT security data and analytics software and services, announced it was selected as a Reader Trust award winner in the Best Vulnerability Management Solution category at the 2014 SC Awards.


According to a release, Rapid7 was also presented with a Silver Stevie Award in the Frontline Customer Service Team of the Year - Technology Industries - Computer Software category in the eighth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

For the SC Award, Rapid7 Nexpose was selected from a group of finalists representing the best the information security industry has to offer. Hundreds of vendors and service providers entered the Reader Trust Award category. Nexpose was selected as the winner by a panel representing a cross-section of SC Magazine readership, which is comprised of large, medium and small enterprises from all major vertical markets, including financial services, health care, government, retail, education and other sectors.

The SC Awards, now in its 17th year, is recognized as a mark of achievement for information-technology (IT) security professionals and products. The annual awards showcase the best solutions, services and professionals working to fend off the myriad security threats in today's corporate world.

"After being narrowed down to a select group of finalists, our judges poured over the entries to thoroughly compare each product against its peers," said Illena Armstrong, VP, editorial, SC Magazine. The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world's top sales awards, contact center awards, and customer service awards. More than 1,500 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year's competition. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 129 professionals worldwide, acting as preliminary judges. More than 260 executives around the world participated in the judging process for the 2014 awards, to determine the Finalists and then the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements.
