deltathree, Inc., a global provider of video and voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony services and products, has published the company’s financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2010 ended December 31, 2010.

The company report says that the company earned revenues of $4.2 million compared with $3.5 million in the third quarter 2010 and $3.7 million reported for the fourth quarter of 2009. For the full year 2010, deltathree (News - Alert) reported total revenues of $14.2 million compared to $19.0 million for the full year 2009. The year-over-year decline in full year revenue was primarily related to the suspension of the operations of deltathree's then-largest reseller customer in the fourth quarter of 2009.

The report also showed GAAP net loss that totalled to $481,000, or $(0.01) per diluted share, compared to a GAAP net loss for the fourth quarter of 2009 of $1.1 million, or $(0.02) per diluted share. deltathree's GAAP net loss improved sequentially compared to a GAAP net loss of $729,000, or $(0.01) per diluted share in the third quarter of 2010. Full year 2010 GAAP net loss totaled $2.5 million, or $(0.03) per diluted share, compared to a GAAP net loss for the full year 2009 of $3.2 million, or $(0.05) per diluted share.

Effi Baruch (News - Alert), CEO, president and senior VP of operations at deltathree said that deltathree's fourth quarter 2010 results were highlighted by their third consecutive quarter of increased top line revenue as they extended their growth trajectory based on solid demand for their expanded range of global VoIP-based voice and video solutions.

Baruch said that they are moving forward with the development of a new video content system as a way to deliver additional value added services to their video phone customers, with the goal of furthering monetizing the high bandwidth delivery platform they have deployed across international digital video phone customer base.

In a related company news story, deltathree, Inc. has announced the launch of joip Mobile. joip Mobile, a new cellular phone application, has been developed to provide low cost mobile calls over GSM as well as Wi-Fi networks. It provides calling packages in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom and is available for users across the globe.
