GoIP Global, which offers a range of mobile media services, solutions and tools has developed a  platform for delivery and storage of all digital content.

Announcing the public beta of GoBox application, company officials at GoIP global urged early users to give feedback through forums.

Officials stated that the purpose of the exercise was to help GoIP to identify and fix bugs before the actual release of the GoBox API. The beta period is expected to be short and a public release is expected shortly. They also requested developers to explore the possibilities of revenue sharing program for using the GoBox API.

In a press release, Ike Sutton, GoIP Global's CEO, commented, “The possibilities of cloud monetization are nearly infinite in the software and mobile arenas. This is an important milestone as we continue to look forward to merging GoBox and Go800 as announced last month.”

The unique desktop application for Windows and IE can be downloaded from the GoBox Website, while a GoBox sidebar and a toolbar for Firefox is already available to the public.

In a statement, John Rafuse, CEO of Add-on Exchange said, “After receiving the acclaim of the number one Favorite Application Programming Interface at the Mashery Lounge at SXSW (News - Alert) this year, partly from our unique revenue sharing with developers, we are now thrilled to present some of our own GoBox branded internal applications that showcase the GoBox technology and service.”

Rafuse explained that the public beta release was part of the company's user acceptance testing and would allow users to identify things that needed to be fixed. As GoBox was still in the initial stages, the company was making an effort to understand metrics, use and stability so that they would achieve their goal when the application was actually deployed.

Content customers experience flexibility while creating mobile marketing campaigns and apps through GO800, a subsidiary of GoIP global.

In a related news release, Add-on Exchange Inc. and its affiliate, GoIP Global, Inc., announced the soft launch of the GOBOX product and service by Southwest Interactive in Austin, Texas on March 11th, 2011.
