Australian broadband service provider Internode announced that it has revised prices and data quotas across its range of ADSL2+ plans.
As part of revised plans, the company’s Easy Naked service will be revised to align with phone line bundled Easy Bundle and Easy Broadband plans.
The company is making the new Easy Naked plans as a bundled plan. Internode will offer new Easy Naked service including a NodePhone VoIP telephone service with $10 worth of calling credit each month without any extra cost.
The new Easy Broadband and Easy Bundle plans will have quota boost of 50GB in the popular plan tiers, at the same price point. There will be no changes in entry level pricing, according to Internode.
The company is offering simple plans such as Easy Broadband, Easy Bundle and Easy Naked plan tables. There will be four easy choices for entry-level, mid-range, large, and super-large (terabyte) quota needs.
Internode ‘Easy Reach’ Plans, delivered via Telstra (News - Alert) Wholesale data paths, have been revised to reflect the underlying costs to deliver these services, Internode said in a press statement.
Company officials said the discount for bundling phone line rental is $20 per month. However, this bundling discount is not available in Telstra ‘zone 2 and 3’ areas.
The company has removed contract term minimum period requirements and plan downgrade fees that applied to some existing plans.
Offering ADSL2+ broadband services at 1400 telephone areas through wholesale suppliers, Internode has its own Agile (News - Alert) DSLAM broadband equipment in operation or under construction at more than 200 exchanges in every state and territory of Australia.
Recently, Internode added two Billion routers to its product range, making it even easier for customers to ensure their home networks can handle Internet Protocol Television (IPTV (News - Alert)). The Billion BiPAC 7800N and 7800NL ADSL2+ routers offer high-speed 802.11n Wireless networks protected by WPA2 security, support both IPv6 as well as IPv4.
