Integrating the Excendia (News - Alert) Virtual Assistant technology, Dialexia Communications has announced the release of a new VoIP- telephony service. Dialexia Communications is an Internet telephony software developer and services supplier based in Montreal.

The award winning carrier class Hosted PBX (News - Alert) platform, HERO is where the iTalk bilingual speech attendant works on. By saying callers’ name without having to remember extensions or take the risk of dialing them while driving, it enables callers to reach the person or service they want. In compliance with safety laws, the iTalk Speech Outlook enables customers to check e-mails and call people while driving. The new iTalk Hands-Free service is marketed under the iMozaik brand, the company stated in a press release.

“Our mission is to introduce innovative voice services that enable companies and business people to improve their competitiveness while reducing their operating costs. We integrated the Excendia virtual assistant technology with our iTalk service to offer more office productivity and more security for people driving. It enables business people to check their email and calendars, or call contacts at the wheel of their cars legally." said Ahmed Aina, President and CEO of Dialexia.

Ideal for travel agencies, real estate brokers, and other professional offices, the iTalk Hands-Free service incorporating Excendia allows them to improve their customer service and project the image of a large company. It also reduces their telephone costs. The iTalk Hands-Free service will be offered to small businesses starting at $29.95 per month for a limited time period.

In March 2009, the company announced that Billerica Public Schools, a School district of the town of Billerica, Mass, has selected Dialexia's flagship product, Dial-Office, a multifaceted SIP-based IP-PBX. Billerica Public Schools evaluated over five IP-PBX vendors and application servers and chose Dial-Office because of features such as scalability, integrated solution, interface, cost and usability. Dial-Office solution was the most comprehensive among the options they evaluated.
