ATCOM Business Technology Solutions (News - Alert), a communication solutions company offering business telecommunications and information technology (IT) solutions, announced that it has deployed a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications system for MMI Public Relations, a Raleigh-based full-service public relations (PR) firm.

As a provider of wide range of services that help clients start big conversations and make powerful connections, MMI Public Relations was in need of an efficient communication that was cost-effective.

According to a press release, ATCOM (News - Alert) partnered with MMI and provided MMI with a new VoIP communications technology that provided MMI with efficient communication between it and its clients. In addition, ATCOM’s technology also provided a possibility for a future remote office that could be seamlessly connected to the main office. However, the VoIP communications system installed at MMI was not disclosed in the release.

David Finch (News - Alert), president and CEO of ATCOM Business Technology Solutions, said in a statement about the recent deployment of VoIP solution for MMI, “We have had a longstanding relationship with MMI Public Relations, and we were excited to provide them with a VoIP communication system as they moved into their new office. The Mitel 3300 system will provide the ability to connect town employees through the latest VoIP platform, IP telephones and data network - for seamless voice and data communication. ATCOM will also provide unified messaging, mobility, and redundant failover support to Town of Kernersville.
