Certified Digium training partner Modulis.ca has announced the launch of Asterisk VoIP Training (News - Alert) and dCAP Certification in Canada.

Modulis.ca, which has an established presence in Asterisk based VoIP telephony solutions in the Canadian market, notes that the Asterisk (News - Alert) Advanced Training program in Canada is scheduled to begin in January 2012.

The first session will begin in Montreal during the week of January 16-20th, 2012. Other sessions have been scheduled for February and March and throughout 2012.

This program is ideal for VoIP professionals and IT managers in corporations and governments providing thorough understanding of Asterisk and what it can do for their organization.

Attendees will know how to install, configure, tune, and maintain a complete Asterisk PBX (News - Alert) system. According to Modukis.ca, those enrolling for the Asterisk VoIP Training and dCAP Certification will be entitled to take the Digium Certified Asterisk Professional (dCAP) certification exam.

Those clearing this exam get a chance to bring a new skill set to their career or organization.
