ATCOM (News - Alert) Business Technology Solutions has installed a state-of-the-art Mitel 3300 Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications system for Sirchie Finger Print Laboratories.

Mitel system replaces a legacy Nortel (News - Alert) telephone system and will allow Sirchie, a fully integrated manufacturer of quality products for the worldwide law enforcement community, to retrieve and manage voicemails easily.

The new communications platform for Sirchie Finger Print Laboratories is equipped with all paperless IP telephones, and includes applications such as unified messaging with desktop features.

ATCOM Business Technology Solutions (News - Alert) notes that the new solution also allows more efficient handling of customer calls by contact call center and helps on-the-go employees stay connected in a better manner.

“ATCOM is known for their service, so we went with them for our new communications system based on that,” said Charles Menn, IT manager for Sirchie Finger Print Laboratories. “You can install a great system, but without great service, it is nearly worthless, and ATCOM has really provided that essential component for us.”
