Internet Tech Specialists, MegaPath Collaborate to Offer Integrated Voice Options


Internet Tech Specialists (I.T.S.), a full service technology and training company recently announced its partnership with MegaPath (News - Alert), an end-to-end, facilities-based provider of a wide selection of data services, Voice over IP (VoIP) and Security technologies to small, medium and Enterprise businesses nationwide.


Internet Tech Specialists, which specializes in technology strategies for the small and medium business, will now offer an Integrated Voice option to its customers for cost-cutting opportunities. The move is aimed at enhancing customer care, I.T.S. pointed out in a press release.

The partnership with MegaPath will enable ITS to offer voice and data over a single connection, whether it is a dynamic DSL, T1, or Ethernet. The businesses with an existing PBX (News - Alert) will be benefited from this collaboration between the training provider and VoIP service provider. In addition of offering long distance calls at a cheaper price, the collaboration will enable ITS to offer greater bandwidth efficiency and advanced IP features to their clients.

In a press release, ITS described the many advantages of the Integrated Voice Options. Enabling voice and data share one circuit, the integrated Voice Option offers significant cost savings. The companies will experience efficiency-gain  through optimized bandwidth usage.

In addition, the Integrated Voice Options will allow the businesses to share long distance minutes company-wide and carry forward unused minutes on a monthly basis.

Above all, Integrated Voice Options enables unlimited local calling.

President of Internet Tech Specialists Debbie Mahler maintained that cost/value ratio integrated voice can bring to the SMBs can be significant. “I can help my clients save up to 45 percent over their traditional phone lines. When I bring this type of value and service, it’s a win for all of us,” she explained in a statement.

Last week, MegaPath Inc unveiled managed security functions that, according to the company, have been created to drive network performance, while simultaneously increasing efficiency in organizations. In a press release the company explained that its Managed Security Services allow for signature updates, scanning, and cleaning to all take place in the cloud.
