netTALK.com, a provider of cost effective communication services to both residential and business customers, announced the appointment of Garry Paxinos as the company’s new chief technology officer (CTO). The company is engaged in the design, distribution and sale of consumer electronics products and low-cost VoIP services through constant innovation and with Paxinos at the top of its technology team, the company expects to be able to offer more innovative services at a more affordable price.

A corporate veteran with 35 years of experience, Paxinos held senior executive positions in several well-known organizations like Axios Digital Solutions and Sezmi (News - Alert). His expertise lies in the fields of system design and development, consumer electronics, television services, electrical engineering, and technology development, netTalk.com said in a press release.

netTALK.com is known for its flagship product, netTALK DUO. Designed as a voice over internet protocol (VoIP) portable device and digital phone service, DUO works as a landline phone service. The netTALK DUO simply plugs directly into modem and offers calling plans at attractive flat rates. Features include call-waiting, caller ID, 3-way calling, voicemail and many other features.

The company aspires to introduce more product innovations in the upcoming days and hopes to gain from Paxinos’ vast range of industry experience.

netTALK.com said that as the CEO of Axios Digital Solutions, a media and technology consulting company, Paxinos assisted an array of start-up companies in the TV marketplace, to launch competitive cable and satellite TV services.

As the VP of Sezmi, Paxinos led the company’s product innovation efforts. The company is engaged in the development of products and services for digital entertainment management and distribution.

Paxinos is actively involved on several international standards committees and conference program committees that help define DTV standards throughout the world.

In August 2011, netTALK.com announced an expansion in its data center footprint by opening the netTALK Cloud Center in north Miami. Featuring redundant power design and maximum connectivity and a 150-foot, 4G enabled cellular tower, the state of the art data center is capable of providing 4G offerings in the future.
