Estech Systems, Inc. (ESI) President George Platt will be part of an ITEXPO (News - Alert) panel on the increasingly important topic of "Communications Solutions for the Branch Office.”
Some of the topics the panelists will cover are: ensuring continuity of communications in branch offices; important features in the branch location (such as location-based services, voice logging, and video); and disaster recovery in branch offices. Other industry professionals will also take part in the panel discussion. TMC’s (News - Alert) Paula Bernier is scheduled as moderator.
The panel will take place between 9 and 9:45 am on Friday. It is open to all registered ITEXPO attendees.
Platt has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, according to the ESI website. Earlier in his career, during 11 years at Intervoice (News
- Alert), Platt worked extensively in reseller channel distribution and VAR development. In addition, Platt headed a team which transformed the Intervoice Enterprise Strategic Business Unit from a proprietary IVR company to a company specializing in open systems and promoting a more effective customer experience. Before leaving Intervoice, Platt was senior vice president of Global Channels and Sales Operations. He was also executive vice president of WS iNet, a call center hosting company.
Estech Systems designs and makes high-performance phone systems for businesses and other organizations. Plano, Texas-based Estech, has sold over 250,000 business communications systems through hundreds of factory-trained certified resellers.
