Avaya Receives Frost & Sullivan 2011 Customer Value Enhancement Award

Avaya (News - Alert) announced that it is recipient of the Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) 2011 Consumer Value Enhancement Award, recognizing its capabilities to improve patient care with unified communications (UC) solutions.


According to independent research firm Frost & Sullivan, the award recognizes the company’s superior focus on enhancing the customer value beyond basic customer service, thus boosting customer retention and customer-base expansion. Frost & Sullivan noted that firms receiving the award have also proactively helped customers increase their return on investment (ROI).

Avaya claims that more than 5,500 healthcare facilities around the globe have deployed its technology and its healthcare solutions improve patient outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and increase patient satisfaction by removing barriers that hold up hospital clinical processes. Avaya’s portfolio is not limited to enhancing patient care – it also offers solutions for administration, operations and also to make healthcare organizations more responsive and efficient.

Avaya also offers solutions for the following patient care cycles: prevention, pre-admission, treatment/care, discharge transition of care and post discharge follow-up/home care. The company claimed that it has the solutions that can enable automated information sharing, real-time care team collaboration and remote consultations. Its UC offerings help eliminate inefficiencies in communications to make organizations more productive and responsive. 

Frost & Sullivan also acknowledged that Avaya has dedicated internal resources, solutions portfolio and a commitment to providing open architecture support that are capable of anticipating and responding to evolving healthcare requirements. Avaya’s offerings in the healthcare arena have been consistently focused on delivering superior levels of patient care, leading the research firm to award them the 2011 Global Customer Value Enhancement Award in UC Technologies.
