SIP's Auto Dialer Software Is Rival to Manual Phone Trees

Businesses may want to call customers, or potential customers, to stay in touch. That is certainly convenient.

“But what if you have tens of thousands of clients,” asks a company statement from Voice2Phone. A large call center can be expensive, SIP advises. There is another option from SIP.

“Instead of using live call agents to deliver static information to a call group, record the message and allow the automatic Broadcast By Phone (News - Alert) feature to spread the word,” the company explains.

SIP’s Auto Dialer software has a lot of uses. It is a rival to manual phone trees used by businesses and other kinds of organizations, explains a blog post from SIP. The phone tree software can dial multiple numbers with an important message, too. It also guarantees a message will be delivered. In addition, smaller businesses without call centers can use the solution to let customers or leads know about its products or highlighted specials. It can also be used by political candidate. It can disseminate messages to a small area, too, such as news or advisories related to specific neighborhoods.

Auto Dialer is a software product which provides a phone broadcast system. It works through VoIP service providers and hardware PBX (News - Alert) systems, or through software PBX, such as Asterisk, the company said in a statement carried by TMCnet. The SIP Auto Dialer is installed to a PC, which is connected to the Internet, with a sound card. Voice over IP is employed to send phone messages. No phone line is required. Nor is a hardware phone system, such as PBX, required for the software to work. Duplicate numbers are cleared out from calling as are those numbers listed on a federal Do Not Call list.

Administrators will find the software easy to use. If a number that is supposed to be called does not get answered, the software will continue to call the number the amount of times authorized by the administrator. The administrator also gets reports with relevant data. These include statistics on usage and habits by customers.

As an added plus, customers can click a single button to connect with a live representative during a call, the company said.
