Hong Kong-based VTech Holdings has broadened its presence in the hospitality suite by completing an installation of SIP phones at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The company installed more than 660 S2420 2-line SIP cordless phones in bedrooms at the new Octavius Tower along with an equal number of S2320 SIP TrimStyle phones with tethered handsets in the hotel's bathrooms. In addition, VTech is currently incorporating some of its analog models in guestrooms at other towers in the hotel and casino. Each phone was installed on a Nortel CS1000 PBX (News - Alert) system.

“We are proud to be partnering with Caesars Palace during its expansion of one of Las Vegas’ most iconic hotels,” said Allan Wong, chairman and Group CEO of VTech Holdings, who added that hospitality is expected to be a key growth driver for VTech moving forward.

“Our strong R&D capability and economies of scale have always enabled us to introduce innovative, feature-rich products that are competitively priced,” he continued. “We are now leveraging this expertise to benefit our customers in the hospitality industry and their guests.”

Wong said that VTech's product line is gaining traction in the U.S., Europe and Asia, and has been selected by hotel chains like Hilton, Hyatt and Mandarin Oriental.

“With a worldwide sales team in place and channel partners in key countries, VTech is well-positioned to tap the full potential offered by the hospitality industry,” Wong added.

VTech is coming off of a fiscal year 2011 where it booked annual earnings of $0.81 per share on total revenue of $1.7 billion, up 11.8 percent from the previous year's results, according to Bloomberg Business Week. Analysts expect the company to increase revenues to $1.8 billion in fiscal year 2012.
